Pokut Pokut

A ledger for a group that fines its own people.

Somebody turns up late, the group records it, and everybody can see where they stand.

What a group does with it

Three things, a few times a month, in the minutes after an event.

Record what happened

A fine, a payment, an expense, an advance. A fine is priced from the group's own fine schedule, so recording one is picking a person and picking an offence.

See where everyone stands

Your own figure, what the group holds, who owes most and who has paid in most. The group decides who sees whose.

Put an entry right

An entry is voided or amended, never quietly deleted. The books stay complete and the correction stays visible.

Who may do what

A group takes people in and gives each of them one of three roles.

Admin

Sets the prices, the people and who sees whose debt.

Manager

Records fines and payments and sees every balance. Removes nobody.

Member

Reads, and records nothing. Always sees their own figure.

What Pokut does not do

Pokut never moves money. A payment is a record that cash changed hands somewhere else — there is no card, no wallet and no settlement. Pokut can show the group's bank details and a code to scan; the transfer itself happens in your banking app.

Nobody's face is stored or uploaded. A member's row carries an eight-character seed, and the drawing is computed from it on the device — the same seed returns the same person, on every phone, offline, on first launch. There is no photograph to upload and none to leak. The privacy policy says what Pokut does keep.

Getting it

Pokut is on iPhone, free, in English, Czech and Slovak. You sign in with an emailed code, or with Google or Apple — most people see the sign-in screen once and then not again for a month.
